ATLAS Shipyards S.A. is committed to environmentally responsible shipyard operations, applying structured recycling and waste management procedures in full compliance with applicable legislation and EU directives.
During repair, refit, maintenance, and dismantling works, materials are carefully separated and managed according to their classification. Recyclable materials are directed to approved recycling channels, while hazardous and non-recyclable materials are handled safely by certified and licensed waste management companies.
The company’s environmental management program includes waste separation, dedicated collection systems for liquid and solid waste, cooperation with licensed recycling partners, marine pollution prevention equipment, continuous personnel training, and the use of eco-friendly materials where applicable.
Through continuous monitoring and responsible operational practices, ATLAS Shipyards S.A. aims to reduce environmental impact and support sustainable yacht and superyacht repair and refit operations.
