ATLAS SHIPYARDS S.A. policy consists of:
- 01. Permanent FIRE extinguishing system for Yard’s protection with a large number of faucets and FIRE stations equipped with all the required extinguishing means.
- 02. Portable and wheeled dry powder extinguishers, foam extinguishers, CO2 extinguishers, etc., positioned in visible and easy to access points.
- 03. Power supply pillars equipped with all the required safety breakers.
- 04. Contemporary equipment according European Union’s directives (CE) which is constantly updated and upgraded.
- 05. Regular maintenance by qualified personnel following manufacturer’s requirements and specifications.
- 06. Constant training of Yard’s personnel through special seminars (for equipment’s use, first aid) and drills (fire drills).
- 07. Mandatory use of, depending on the application, required Individual Means of Protection (IMP).
- 08. Fully equipped pharmacy.
- 09. Health and Safety engineer.
